Staff Specialist - Haematologist - Coffs Harbour - Perm Part Time

1. Currently registered, or eligibile for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), obtained fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists Australasia in Laboratory Haematology and/or other Specialist recognition as proved under the Staff Specialists (State) Award.

2. Demonstrated contemporary clinical knowledge and technical expertise in the specialist field of Clinical and Laboratory Haematology.

3. Demonstrated contemporary knowledge of National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council Standards and NATA accreditation processes.

4. Demonstrated clinical practice of a high standard and ability to adapt practice in accordance with contemporary evidence based best practice.
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
6. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
7. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
8. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
9. Current drivers licence.
