What you'll be doing
The purpose of a Clinical Trial Coordinator Registered Nurse is to work in a team environment, managing a caseload of patients participating in Oncology and Haematology Clinical trials. Ensuring research is conducted in accordance with the protocol, ethical requirements and guidelines for Good Clinical 

Practice to achieve high quality data for research whilst also Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.  These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.

  1. Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  2. Demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge and ability in Oncology Nursing and/or previous experience in clinical trials preferred.
  3. Venipuncture/phlebotomy skills desirable.
  4. Proven clinical problem solving skills to maximise patient care.
  5. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment providing outcome based care.
