This is not a remote working position and will be delivered fully on-site in Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour.
What you'll be doing
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Unit Manager - Level 1 to join the Mid North Coast Virtual Care team, based in Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour.
The MNC Virtual Care Nurse Unit Manager Level 1 is responsible for providing day-to-day clinical leadership and operational oversight of the multidisciplinary MNC Virtual Care team. This role coordinates the delivery of patient assessment, clinical review, treatment, care planning, and transfer of care for those accessing the service. The NUM mentors, coaches, and supports the nursing and clinical support team to ensure high standards of care and service delivery are consistently met.
About you, do you have?
- Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Proven operational / clinical management knowledge and skills in a relevant setting that demonstrate an ability to support and coordinate ward/unit activities in the care of patients.
- Proven ability to ensure the human, physical and financial resources of the ward/unit are managed to deliver safe and efficient health care within available resources
- Demonstrated advanced reasoning skills with proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team with proven leadership and management skills, demonstrating the ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team.
