- Qualifications eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; or qualifications recognised for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.; or qualifications eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia; or qualifications eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Advanced clinical skills in mental health with triage, assessment, care planning, treatment, discharge planning and review in relation to acutely unwell mental health consumers.
- Demonstrated ability in the implementation of evidence based therapeutic interventions for acutely mentally unwell consumers
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007) and Amendments, and National Mental Health Standards (2010), and Best Practice guidelines for service delivery in mental health
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people
- Competent computer skills utilising varied and appropriate software programs (eg word processing, data management systems and spreadsheets)
- Current unrestricted Drivers Licence and ability to travel as required
