- Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and postgraduate qualifications in a Diploma of Clinical Pharmacy or any other relevant postgraduate qualifications AND a minimum of 6 months experience in the relevant specialty OR not less than 3 years’ experience in hospital pharmacy including not less than 12 months experience in the relevant specialty.
- Extensive experience in the provision of advanced clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting with a demonstrated understanding of contemporary practice in clinical pharmacy, quality use of medicines and knowledge of relevant state and national policies that facilitate medication safety.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with Pharmacy staff and other members of the healthcare team and clients and a demonstrated ability of problem solving skills
- Commitment to participate in ongoing professional development and experience in the provision of educational sessions to the multidisciplinary healthcare team and clients
- Proven record of significant contribution to medication safety and quality assurance activities
- Previous experience in providing high level hospital pharmacy oncology and haematology services.
- Proven time management and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated skills in service planning, ability to implement initiatives and provide ongoing review to ensure continual quality enhancement of the pharmacy service for oncology/haematology.
