Clinical Nurse Educator - Aged and Geriatric Evaluation and Management Unit - Port Macquarie

1. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia who holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such educational or clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
2. To have obtained or working towards Certificate IV in the workplace training and assessment or equivalent program.
3. Commitment and competence to the principles and delivery of adult education at a ward/unit level and understanding of learning and assessment principles. 
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, to development, implement and assist in the development of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
5. Demonstrated commitment and responsibility for professional practices through the development of self and others
6. Experience with complex medical nursing management and related discharge planning requirements and an understanding of patient classification assessment requirements.
7. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
