Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa). 

What you'll be doing
To provide expert clinical consultancy and services within Tuberculosis Prevention and Care, practicing in accordance with l82017_003 CNC 2 Domains, and to demonstrate leadership in promoting contemporary nursing across the North Coast, covering the Mid North Coast and Northern NSW LHDs. In addition, the position may participate in other Communicable Disease prevention and control strategies at the direction of the service manager
About you
  1. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with at least 5 years' full time equivalent post registration experience and post graduate qualifications with at least 3 years' full time experience in tuberculosis prevention and care with the authority to provide immunisation (ACN Immunisation for Health Practitioners or equivalent), tuberculin skin testing (TST) and BCG vaccination in NSW without direct medical authorisation.
  2. Demonstrated capacity to provide clinical governance and leadership, and experience in the provision of education to peers, clients and other service providers and to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development.
