  1. Tertiary Degree in S/Work or other equivalent qual providing eligibility for membership of AASW or Current full rego with the Psychology Board of Aust with a 4yr degree in Psych, being a 3yr degree with a 4th yr honours in Psych, or a qual deemed equivalent by the employer and have completed a minimum of 1yr at the 9th yr of service and thereafter point on the salary scale for Psych; or Current full rego with the Psych Board of Aust with a Masters Degree or higher in Clinical Psych, Clinical Neuropsych or some other recognised clinical area in Psychology that the employer deems relevant to the functions of the position. Postgrad quals must be of no less than 2 yrs full time duration (or P/Time equivalent) and include professional clinical coursework, clinical training and supervised placement experience as core components. Accredited with the CSOCAS or willingness to undertake and maintain accreditation with CSOCAS administered by the NSW Children's Guardian..
  2. Demonstrated extensive post graduate clinical (therapeutic) experience including demonstrated capacity to work therapeutically with children and young people who have sexually harmed and/or experienced harm and postgraduate clinical practice in the area of sexual assault, violence and abuse or related.
  3. Relevant experience in management, which includes development and coordination of clinical services within a Health Service or multidisciplinary team, ability to develop, monitor and reach predicted outcomes to strategic and business plans.
  4. Demonstrated extensive experience working with Aboriginal communities, or ability and willingness to influence, promote and enhance outcomes for Aboriginal people including ability to participate in ongoing Aboriginal cultural competency training.
  5. Demonstrated ability to provide high-level supervision, leadership and direction to the development and coordination of clinical services within a Health Service or multidisciplinary team
  6. Demonstrated high-level communication, interpersonal and time management skills necessary to lead with vision and inspire commitment of others and to develop and nurture internal and external partnerships.
  7. Demonstrated understanding of the legislation, Government policies, including NSW Health policies and legal issues surrounding sexual assault and the physical abuse and neglect of children and the application of these in a health setting.
  8. Current driver's license and a willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
