Where you'll be working

The CAMHS Mental Health Clinician provides comprehensive assessment, treatment and collaborative care planning in partnership with other providers to support best practice mental health care for children and young people (0-17 years) and their families/carers who are living in the MNCLHD. Children, young people and families referred to the service will have moderate to severe and complex mental health needs significantly impacting on most aspects of their functioning and development. The complexity and severity are often due to concerns around safety, multiple comorbidities, previous poor treatment response and multiple risk factors (including trauma) for the development of mental health issues.



What you'll be doing

Provision of high quality psychology services to children and adolescents aged 0-17yrs and their families within the Mid North Coast Local Health District.   


About you, do you have?
  1. Current full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with a four year degree in psychology, being a three year degree with a fourth year honours in psychology; or a qualification deemed equivalent by the employer
  2. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people
