Registered Nurse - Palliative Care - Wauchope District Memorial Hospital

1. Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
2. Currently enrolled, currently hold, or demonstrated willingness to enrol and complete Post Graduate Palliative Care study.
3. Demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge and ability relevant to a palliative care unit setting with proven clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care.
4. Demonstrated ability to participate in meaningful conversations around palliative care and end of life.
5. Effective organisational and time management skills appropriate to team leadership of the palliative care unit.
6. Demonstrated effective clinical communication skills through the use of verbal, written, interpersonal skills and information technology.
7. Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment providing outcome based care utilising Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration (PCOC.)
8. Participate in a seven day rotating roster including public holidays and night duty.
