Selection Criteria
- Eligible for registration with the medical board of Australia as a Specialist General Practitioner (or in training to achieve such registration).
- Hold DRANZCOG Adv or equivalent with demonstrated appropriate procedural skills in the delivery of General Practice Obstetrics in accordance with the role delineation of the service, this includes advanced neonatal resuscitation skills and care of the newborn
- Demonstrated recency of practice in providing Obstetric care at a Level 3 (or above) Maternity service
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of the team.
- Demonstrate effective clinical communication through use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Availability to participate in an on call roster and to respond to site within a reasonable time.
- Hold a current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence.
