Staff Specialist Psychiatrist - Coffs Clinical Network - Apply via eCredential

Selection Criteria

1. Registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Psychiatrist and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry (RANZP) with specialist recognition in adult psychiatry as provided for in the Staff Specialist (State Award)
2. Demonstrated recent clinical experience in community and inpatient adult Psychiatry at the equivalent role of staff specialist (eg consultant psychiatrist, senior specialist etc).
3. Demonstrated clinical practice of a high standard and ability to adapt practice in accordance with contemporary evidence based best practice, including recovery focused and trauma informed care.
4. Demonstrated excellent understanding of governance and quality improvement methodology for developing and maintaining high standards of clinical services, particularly using co-design principles.
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
6. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
7. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
8. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time, and eligibility for NSW drivers licence.
