Staff Specialist - Obstetrics Pregnancy Connect Medical Lead - Location Negotiable - Apply via eCredentail

Selection Criteria  

1. Registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a category consistent with the role and responsibilities of a Staff Specialist Obstetrician with current clinical appointment in NSW Health.
2. Demonstrated clinical expertise in the provision of maternity care and currently engaged in the care of pregnant women with complex clinical needs.
3. Comprehensive and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Tiered Perinatal Networks and maternity and neonatal service capability in NSW/ACT and the ability to negotiate with other hospitals outside of the network, as needed.
4. Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with a proven ability to effectively engage in multidisciplinary team working, including the promotion of reflective practice
5. Clinical practice of a high standard and ability to adapt practice in accordance with contemporary evidence based best practice.
6. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
7. Current drivers licence.
