- Registered or eligible for registration (without restrictions) with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.
- Demonstrated recent clincial expeience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the role delineation of the service.
- Demostrated ability to work effectively and collegially as part of a multidisplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communcation through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster (in addition to regular rostered work consistent with a 0.8FTE position) and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
- Commitment to provide both obstetric and gynaecological inpatient and outpatient care. Clinic locations will be in both Port Macquarie and Kempsey Hospitals.
