Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa). 

The MNCLHD are currently seeking a Clinical Support Officer to join our amazing team at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.

About you

  • Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent
  • Proficient communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software
  • Proficient organisational skills and with ability to prioritse workload to meet deadlines
  • Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment
  •       Working understanding of Healthroster and ability to navigate the system
  •       Ability to prioritise workload as supporting 3 Departments (Perioperative Services, Anaesthetic and Surgical Departments)

What you'll be doing
Provision of timely and accurate administrative / transactional services for members of the healthcare team on designated ward(s) / unit(s) under the direction of the N/MUM in line with current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures. You will assist Nursing in developing agenda items/minutes and action table for nursing /allied health staff meetings every 4 weeks. You will minute take for the all meetings including dept of surgery and Anaesthetics- this will involve two out of hours shifts a month.
