Clinical Midwife Educator - Port Macquarie

• To provide clinical education and training within the ward to promote competence of nursing/midwifery staff.
• Deliver and evaluate clinical education programs to groups and individuals to contribute to the development of the MNCLHD nursing/midwifery team.
• Promote a culture of learning and development.
• Provide day to day and one on one clinical education along with in-services to meet team and individual learning and development needs.
• Support new staff during their transition into the nursing/midwifery workforce.
• Participate in the development and review of procedures and guidelines to provide education advice and expertise.
• Practice in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's professional standards, NSW Health Code of Conduct and CORE values.
