What you'll be doing

The primary purpose of MNC Virtual Care is to reduce preventable admissions and decrease length of hospital stay through virtual Urgent Care delivery, early intervention and care navigation to people who have been identified as at risk of Emergency Department presentation and hospitalisation.


To support this purpose, MNC Virtual Care manages a high volume of calls and administrative tasks, particularly during peak periods, operating in a fast-paced, call-centre-like environment.

The Administrative Officer will provide essential administrative support, including MS Excel skills, patient registration, data entry, reconciliation, and answering phone enquiries. The role ensures timely and accurate services for the Virtual Care team, in line with Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.


About you, do you have?
  • Previous experience within a customer service environment
  • Previous experience working in a contact centre is desirable but not essential. However, demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of calls and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment is important.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and lateral thinking
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a passion to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Possess excellent work ethic and behaviour.
  • Ability to clearly communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to pick up and learn new systems quickly.
