What you'll be doing
The Adult Survivors Program is a significant reform initiative being implemented by NSW Health in response to findings from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. The program aims to improve outcomes for adult survivors of child sexual abuse, with a particular focus on survivors of complex trauma with mental health and alcohol and other drug support needs.  The program model takes a hybrid strategic-clinical approach.

This focus of the Clinicians role is part of an integrated approach to Adult Survivors of child sexual assault and requires strong cultural awareness and community understanding. This position will require delivery of culturally safe and appropriate therapeutic and clinical interventions that address childhood trauma and positively contribute to social and emotional wellbeing and broader determinants of health for individuals, families and communities.
