Where you will be working

 

The Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) has over 3,500 staff, 33 Public Hospitals, including 2 Base Hospitals, 8 Acute Community Hospitals and 16 Multi-Purpose Services. What you will be doing
 

The Research Officer – ‘On Track For Life’ early childhood healthy weight initiative will work with the Project Manager to develop and implement the evaluation of the initiative and identify key health outcomes achieved through implementation of this initiative. This evaluation will inform key partners internally and in NSW Health more broadly to develop a scalable and sustainable community health based program with a focus on preventing young children growing above a healthy weight.

 
 

Selection Criteria

 
  • Honours Degree (or equivalent) with a major in a relevant area and experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection.
  • Organisational and communication skills of a high order, with a demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail, contribute to research outputs and reports for diverse audiences, and ability to analyse and interpret results and contribute to collaborative publications of project findings.
