Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist who is ready for a new adventure. As the Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be able to provide plan and deliver comprehensive, high quality patient care to our regional Griffith communities. This is your opportunity to step into a position where you are in charge and no two days are the same. You will have opportunities to work within a range of settings, including our brand new, state of the art, Griffith Base Hospital.

About the role:

Joining a high performing multidisciplinary team, you will provide high level Occupational Therapy services to promote the health and wellbeing of children and their families with specialist knowledge in a clinical area or a high level of broad generalist knowledge.

As the Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • delivering comprehensive Occupational Therapy services
  • working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise the health care and wellbeing of each client and their loved ones.
  • supporting complex cases with a variety of challenges and considerations to navigate

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • An in-depth understanding and ability to provide Occupational Therapy services in a curious and empathetic way
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Therapy and registered with AHPRA
  • High level of professionalism with ability to work independently and as part of a large team
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise services where necessary
