About Your Role
The Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) Cancer Services Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) 3 provides expert clinical consultancy and services within a mixed clinical environment across multiple services within the speciality, practicing within the CNC domains.
The MLHD Cancer Services CNC3 contributes to quality health care by collaborating with health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes.
The CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective management of cancer care across MLHD.
The MLHD Cancer Services CNC3 will formulate and implement policy, guide practice development, and engage in education and research activities.
The CNC is responsible for the provision of clinical supervision and leadership to nursing staff and acts as a role model in the oncology speciality and across the broader multidisciplinary team.
