About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Allied Health Assistant to join us in this exciting role to provide a quality clinical and administrative service.

As the Allied Health Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Complete delegated clinical care activities to support the delivery of high quality clinical care to people in the MLHD.
  • Complete clinical and administrative support activities to promote the effective and efficient provision of Allied Health services. 
  • Ensure ongoing development and maintenance of the knowledge and skills to ensure capability for the role within the allied health team.

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  1. Completion of a relevant Certificate IV qualification or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer) or where they have been successfully assessed as possessing the competencies required for Certificate IV by way of Recognised Prior Learning (RPL).
  2. Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
