Youth Health Clinical Nurse Consultant, Eating Disorders

1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
2. Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registration (AHPRA), with at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, and with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the speciality area of paediatric and adolescent eating disorders.
3. Approved post graduate Masters qualification relevant to paediatric and adolescent eating disorders, significant progression of same or be willing to commence within two years of the appointment.
4. Demonstrated expert level clinical expertise and leadership in the identification, assessment, management and treatment of children and adolescents with eating disorders and their families.
5. Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, written and presentation skills with the ability to liaise, consult and educate key internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
6. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
7. Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead quality improvement and research projects, effectively deliver specialist education programmes, and contribute to strategic planning and advocacy for eating disorders and youth health.
8. Demonstrated advanced computer skills and capacity to use health related information technology systems. Current NSW Driver’s license.
