Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health management, business administration, human resources or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the legislation, awards and policies relating to the employment of Senior Medical Officers with demonstrated capacity to assist with their development and implementation.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload to meet conflicting deadlines.
- Ability to determine priorities for others, delegate tasks and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, liaison and interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, data systems and associated functional requirements, including the ability to maintain data integrity, prepare, analyse and interpret statistics, data, and reports.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and meet predetermined targets and deadlines, while being flexible and able to adapt work practices to suit circumstances.
- Current drivers licence with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
