Tissue Retrieval Technician - Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital

Selection Criteria

1. Associate Diploma or equivalent with an emphasis on anatomy and/or physiology.
2. Ability and willingness to work on call and in a Mortuary setting undertaking musculoskeletal, skin, eye and other tissue retrieval;
3. Knowledge of, or willingness to develop knowledge of, the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice, the NSW Human Tissue Act, the NSW Coroners Act and other relevant legislative acts.
4. A commitment to improving the healthcare of the community of NSW through tissue donation and implantation
5. Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication including standard computer applications;
6. Demonstrated high quality organisational skills and attention to detail
7. Experience working in a highly confidential environment
8. Unrestricted driver’s licence
