Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurse who holds current unconditional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA
- Relevant tertiary Qualifications In health management or working towards same
- Proven high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and an aptitude to utilise relevant information technology platforms
- Clinical and operational management experience at a senior level within a complex health care environment using demonstrable negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Sound Leadership skills and ability to meet deadlines and to prioritise workload
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning processes including strategic planning for the recruitment and retention of nursing staff, and ability to provide clear and concise plans and reports
- Demonstrated experience in the operational management of the nursing profile and workforce planning.
- Sound understanding and evidence of financial, human resource and nursing budget principles relating to the nursing workforce.
