To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology (or equivalent) with eligibility for full practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  2. Advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience and skills in the provision of speech pathology services in a paediatric setting with clients with complex and diverse needs, preferably community health
  3. Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating quality improvement process.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective internal and external partnerships.
  5. Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical and administrative demands
  6. Demonstrated experience in providing clinical leadership, supervision and education for staff and/or students
  7. Demonstrated commitment to evidence based practice (EBP) and experience implementing EBP into service planning and evaluation of service changes.
  8. Demonstrated experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse, vulnerable and/or at risk communities ensuring the provision of family centred care.
  9. Evidence of effectiveness in leadership and management
