- Current unrestricted membership with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR); registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Medical Radiation Practitioner - Diagnostic Radiographer and registration with the EPA (Radiation User Licence).
- Demonstrated extensive experience in ultrasound with demonstrated high level competence to perform a full range of area specific complex examinations both in regular working hours and in an on call setting.
- Demonstrated experience in general radiography, theatre, mobile, both in and out of hours service.
- Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge of the role and operation of imaging services in a multidisciplinary hospital setting.
- The applicant will be required to meet current Health Employees Medical Radiation Scientists (State) Award conditions for Level 3 Grade 3 Diagnostic Radiographer.
- Ability to participate in 24 hour rotating roster including on-call services, seven days per week as directed by the Manager of Medical Imaging. These shifts may vary from site to site within the service.
