To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Law, Business or other relevant field and/or professional experience in Generalist Human Resources in a large, diverse service industry organisation.
  2. Demonstrated experience in providing expert technical and specialist human resources advice and consultancy services at a senior level including on complex matters through a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of policies and legislative/regulative requirements pertaining to employment and workforce related matters.
  3. Demonstrated skills and experience in the development of workforce policies and initiatives including implementation, evaluation and monitoring.
  4. Well-developed interpersonal and relationship management skills which include the ability to analyse and problem solve, negotiate and influence key stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare detailed and structured correspondence, statements, briefs, reports and formal documents for external bodies.
  6. Demonstrated experience in project management including education programs to support workforce initiatives.
  7. Demonstrated ability to use HRIS systems to generate workforce data, and to manipulate, interpret, analyse and present workforce data as required.
  8. High level organisational skills and the ability to manage competing tasks within tight timeframes and a proven ability to function at a senior level, with limited supervision and support.
