- Evidence of Medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Extensive clinical competency and leadership skills to work in charge of the Emergency Department.
- Experience in operating at a senior level within an Emergency Department .
- Ensure that all practices in patient care delivery are consistent with high quality evidence based practice, and local LHD, state or national guidelines.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, teaching and continuing medical education.
- High level communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and high level literacy with Local Health District ITC systems.
- Commitment to participate in an equitable medical roster, including evenings and weekend shifts.
