To apply for this position, please address the following Selection Criteria

  1. Current accreditation with Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR) and either current Authority to Practice as a Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency (AHPRA) or ; post graduate qualification in Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound with extensive practical examination experience demonstrating excellent clinical reasoning skills in the performance of complex sonography procedures.
  2. Demonstrated experience in service development with proven ability to develop and implement protocols and procedures pertaining to Cardiac Ultrasound.
  3. Demonstrated effective clinical and non-clinical communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload, delegating where required.
  5. Demonstrated responsibility for own continuing professional development (CPD) with particular relevance to the ultrasound profession.
  6. Demonstrated extensive experience in the Ultrasound modality including involvement in protocol and procedure development.
  7. Willingness to actively participate, organise and facilitate ultrasound education for other staff and students including in-services and other forms of CPD.
  8. Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to travel for work purposes.
