About The Opportunity
Join a dedicated and close-knit team at our busy Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) clinic, located within Liverpool Hospital. We care for a large and diverse patient cohort and are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to support the delivery of high-quality PD care both in-clinic and in the community.
This role involves hands-on clinical care, patient education, and community support for individuals undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis. You’ll work collaboratively with patients, families, hospital wards, and outpatient clinics to ensure continuity of care and promote patient empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PD-related procedures including line changes, flushes, exchanges, peritonitis management, and automated PD
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and clinical teams across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Deliver care and follow-up via telephone and telehealth to support patients in the community
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure responsive, culturally safe care
- Contribute to quality improvement, WHS, and risk management initiatives
About You
You’re a clinically confident and compassionate nurse with a strong interest in renal care and patient education. You thrive in collaborative environments and bring a proactive, professional approach to your work. You will have recent clinical experience, deliver safe and culturally responsive care, communicate effectively across teams, and apply critical thinking to evidence-based practice, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and collaboration.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
