  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or extensive relevant experience in a large and diverse service industry organisation, or a combination of study and work experience.
  2. Demonstrated excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, negotiate and delegate effectively with a diverse range of people. Highly developed and effective management and conflict resolution skills
  3. Sound knowledge of the statutory and other performance reporting requirements within the NSW public health system. With demonstrated ability to make judgements and have sole delegated responsibility to approve changes in standards, practices, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant internal and external policy directives.
  4. Excellent organisational, analytical and complex problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery of services
  5. Knowledge and demonstrated experience in the application and development of casemix methodologies, product costing, resource allocation and funding models, specifying and developing activity modelling, product costing and management reporting
  6. High level computer skills utilising varied and appropriate software programs (eg word processing, data management systems and spreadsheets) and Proven experience in using data management, statistical and business intelligence tools (eg SMRS).
  7. Demonstrated experience in data analysis, interpretation and problem solving to support the provision of quality, timely and value adding management reports used to inform appropriate clinical and management decisions within a complex health service related organisation.
  8. Current Drivers License and ability to travel as required
