Program Manager, Nepean Redevelopment - Nepean Hospital - Temp FT

Selection Criteria to be addressed:

1. Project management experience delivering outcomes on time and within budget. Health clinician with extensive clinical and/or senior management experience.
2. Demonstrated experience in people management, particularly teams in a project environment to ensure project outcomes are achieved.
3. Demonstrated experience in overseeing effective change in a health service, including industrial, operational commissioning, communications, risk management. Highly developed negotiation consultation and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders and objectivity in decision-making.
4. Skill in diffusing situations where conflict arises from competing stakeholder needs and requirements, applying a range of conflict resolution and negotiation strategies aimed at reaching consensus and overcoming resistance to change. Demonstrated ability to work within diverse team and facilitate group decision making within tight timeframes.
5. Demonstrated experience in policy, planning and /or service development, including analysis and resolution of complex issues. Knowledge of inter-relationship between models of care, facility options and operational policies and procedures.
6. Experience and/or knowledge of ‘Clinical Redesign or AIM Methodology’ for change management as recommended by NSW Ministry of Health.
7. Well-developed written and oral communications skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with the project team, district management and key stakeholders.
8. Understanding and experience in interpreting drawings, floor plan elevations etc. Management of Commissioning phases of hospital/health service delivery projects would be highly desirable but not essential.
