Physiotherapy Unit Head, Port Kembla District Hospital

Selection Criteria:

1. Current physiotherapy registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Extensive experience and skills in leadership and management of a clinical patient-centred service.
3. Extensive professional knowledge and experience working as a clinical Physiotherapist across a broad range of clinical areas and demonstrated understanding of the application of evidence based practice to physiotherapy models of care.
4. A demonstrated commitment to the delivery of a quality service through leading and implementing clinical practice improvement.
5. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills including negotiation and delegation.
6. Experience in the use of management tools and systems e.g. HealthRoster, StaffLink and Chameleon required to ensure optimal financial and human resource management.
7. Demonstrated commitment and evidence of implementation of ISLHD CORE values.
8. Current Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
