Patient Safety Nurse Manager (Gde 3)-Perm FT

- Demonstrated senior nursing experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in a relevant setting.
- Proven ability to ensure the human, physical and financial resources of the service/facility are managed to provide safe, compassionate, quality care that is culturally responsive
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs
- Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and manage conflicts and performance issues when they arise
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking to set goals, formulate plans and policies to achieve identified outcomes
- Demonstrated understanding and participation in the implementation of organisational change, risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
- Demonstrated experience of the Root Cause Analysis system and incidents of high severity including adherence of legislative obligations
- Demonstrated experience in the implementation of patient safety systems and programs and the use of data analysis and other approved methods to measure the effectiveness of the programs.
