Selection Criteria:


  1. Possess an undergraduate degree and/or experience in a health related discipline.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of the NSW Health Complaints Management and Incident Management policies.
  3. Demonstrated experience in the management of complaints & knowledge/skills in mediation, conciliation and conflict resolution.
  4. Demonstrated experience working with incident information management systems and experience in providing reports and generating graphs.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team with excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  6. Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care, and an ability to model and promote behaviours in line with NSW Ministry of Health and WSLHD values (Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment).
  7. Demonstrated high level communication skills in interacting effectively with clinical staff, senior managers and external stakeholders, including effective written communication, IT skills and skills in providing education to staff.
