  • Bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent.
  • Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to plan, facilitate and evaluate group education programs. 

  • Commitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education.
  • Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of service to consumers, carers and families requiring effective interpersonal communication, networking and collaboration skills. Recent relevant postgraduate clinical experience and excellent knowledge of current nutrition and dietetic practice in the management of both general outpatients and complex clients with Type 1 diabetes and Type 2 diabetes.

  • Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
