Selection Criteria to be addressed:
- Current registration with AHPRA - Division 1 Registered Nurse
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in speciality or management or working towards attainment or extensive clinical experience in the field that demonstrates ability to perform the role
- Demonstrated skills in quality improvement/redesign projects and the associated change management
- Demonstrated sound financial skills with an ability to interpret financial reports.
- Proven ability to motivate, manage and develop nursing/midwifery staff to maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Proven ability to assess nursing/midwifery utilisation and resource requirements within agreed targets
- Demonstrated effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the LHD in accordance with the position.
