- Registered as a Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Recent extensive experience in clinical practice within the neonatal intensive care environment.
- Holding post registration clinical and education qualification relevant to the position.
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate education and training programs.
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary adult learning principles.
- Computer literacy and understanding of relevant information systems.
