To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Has a post graduate qualification relevant to the education portfolio
- Has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or its successor (or TAE40110 plus the TAEASS502 and TAELLN411 units)
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of education programs in a Health Care setting and relevant to their education portfolio
- Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and their application into teaching and education programs in a Health Care setting
- Demonstrated ability as a participant in the development and review of education to support the needs of the Organisation
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with the multidisciplinary health care team, patients/carers and consumers
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidence based education programs
- Demonstrated sound organisational skills and the ability to be resourceful, proactive and flexible, to ensure successful management of competing demands and deadlines
