Munch & Move Coordinator - Darlinghurst Community Health Centre

Selection Criteria

1. Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in a health promotion or public health discipline and extensive equivalent experience.
2. Extensive knowledge and understanding of childhood obesity in the Australian context and experience in working with, or in at least one of, the Healthy Children Initiative settings: Go4Fun®, pre-schools, schools, sporting clubs or community organisations.
3. Ability to manage, motivate and coordinate professional staff and to work within an action- oriented multidisciplinary team.
4. Proven program management skills with experience managing administrative processes and coordinating a team of casual contractors.
5. Demonstrated ability to negotiate and foster productive and effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, community and professional groups/organisations.
6. Commitment to addressing equity and an understanding of the issues that impact on program delivery in relation to social disadvantage, Aboriginal and CALD communities.
7. Demonstrated high level communication, analytical, critical appraisal and problem solving skills.
8. Current unrestricted NSW Class C driver’s licence.
