Midwifery Educator (Grade 2) - CEWD Education Department - PPT
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Has a post graduate qualification relevant to the education portfolio
- Has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or its successor (or TAE40110 plus the TAEASS502 and TAELLN411 units) and post graduate qualification in adult education or working towards same.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of education programs in the Health Care setting
- Demonstration of a clear understanding of adult learning principles and incorporation of these principles into teaching and education programs in a variety of settings
- Demonstrated ability to develop education to support the strategic initiatives of the Organisation
- Demonstration of excellence in interpersonal, written and verbal communication with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with the multidisciplinary health care team, patients/carers and consumers
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidence based education programs
- Demonstrated sound organisational skills and the ability to be resourceful, proactive and flexible, to ensure successful management of competing demands and deadlines Selection
