- Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA without conditions.
- Midwifery leadership and management experience with proven ability to work in a complex and changing environment.
- Demonstrated Midwifery knowledge and skills that support excellence in health outcomes and provision of safe care.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including complaints management.
- Demonstrated experience managing human and financial resources effectively.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of the clinical governance requirements of a Tertiary Maternity Service.
- Demonstrate understanding of professional ethics, and experience leading a team.
- Experience in leading quality improvement within Maternity services including development of midwifery models of care.
