Mental Health Consultation Liaison, Clinical Nurse Consultant 2 - Tweed

1. Registered Nurse/ Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a minimum of 5 years' full time equivalent post registration experience and at least 3 years' full time equivalent experience in mental health and a post registration qualification in mental health or other area relevant to the specialty.
2. Proven clinical expertise and leadership skills in mental health and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
3. Demonstrated ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the initiation, utilisation and review of evidence based research.
4. Experience with contributing to strategic and clinical service planning and the management of organisational and cultural change.
5. Demonstrated high level advanced communication and interpersonal skills (including the use of coaching) across a variety of mediums and proven ability to write for a variety of documents.
6. Proven advanced skills in clinical teaching, competency in the use of contemporary information systems and evidence of the ability to develop, implement and evaluate specialty education programs.
7. Understanding of and commitment to the effective and meaningful engagement of clinicians in the decision making process that impacts on positive patient outcomes.
8. Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment
