Mental Health Clinician - Infant, Child, Youth & Family (ICYF)

- Hold appropriate
qualifications and registration where applicable for employment as Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist Level
1/2, Social Worker Level 1/2, Psychologist or Welfare Officer (incl. Djirruwang
Graduate) Level 1/2. Please refer to
position criteria for full requirements.
- The ability to effectively manage clinical issues, think critically and solve problems.
- Knowledge of contemporary child and adolescent mental health practices to the service/ program/ speciality, rural/ remote service provision and practical application of relevant MHDA legislation and policy.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to document accurately, write clearly and succinctly, consult effectively with others, and develop collaborative partnerships with a range of stakeholders.
- Competency in the use of information and communication technology, including standard office software, for email, internet searches, analysis of clinical data, and clinical documentation.
- The ability to collaborate and work effectively and sensitively with a diverse range of clients, including remote communities and Aboriginal people.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Hold a current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to travel occasionally for work purposes.
