Manager Patient Safety & Quality - Location Negotiable

Selection Criteria:

1. Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in developing, implementing and maintaining patient safety, quality, accreditation and/or risk management systems.
2. Demonstrated excellent leadership and management experience in a health setting.
3. Demonstrated highly developed written and verbal communication skills including capacity to produce professional written materials including plans, analysis, reports and recommendations to inform decision making.
4. Proven capacity to develop interpersonal relationships and teamwork to effectively collaborate and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders including senior clinicians and managers.
5. Demonstrated ICT skills including the use of databases, applications and reporting platforms, along with high level use of Microsoft programs.
6. Proven ability to motivate and coordinate people to deliver creative solutions that result in change and improvement.
7. Proven high level of self-direction, planning, organisational and time management skills.
8. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
