Selection Criteria to be addressed:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Employee Relations or other relevant business degree and/or demonstrated extensive experience in leading and achieving outcomes in managing a Human Resources Team within a large complex and diverse service industry organisation.
  2. Demonstrated experience in the delivery of business focussed workforce and people outcomes that are beneficial to the organisation and capacity to keep abreast of emerging policy trends and changes to employment related law and apply them to contemporary service deliver models in Health.
  3. Sound knowledge of the legislative and regulative requirements relating to human resources management and extensive experience in providing expert technical and specialised strategic Workforce and change management advice at a senior level.
  4. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) including the ability to prepare complex briefs, reports and submissions and ability in negotiation and/or advocacy and demonstrated experience in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of workforce policies and related educational programs, coupled with well-developed presentation and facilitation skills.
  5. Highly developed interpersonal communication, business acumen and consulting, influencing and negotiation skills with the proven capacity to provide authoritative advice and maintain appropriate and credible relationships at senior levels.
  6. High level analytical and problem solving skills that facilitates a conceptual approach to the strategic planning process and proven ability to develop, implement and monitor innovative and contemporary Human Resource solutions.
  7. Ability to work independently with limited direction as to work priorities, with demonstrated experience managing and meeting predetermined targets and reporting deadlines, whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail and being flexible to adapt work practices.
  8. Demonstrated experience in a business partnering environment, developing and implementing strategic HR solutions that align with business objectives to address key workforce challenges in the medium to long term.
