Manager, Clinical Operations Priorities - Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital

Selection Criteria:

1. Tertiary qualifications in health administration, management or related discipline and/or equivalent experience at the senior level.
2. Demonstrated ability to lead the local implementation of strategic and organisational priorities and deliver multiple outcomes within tight timeframes while maintaining a high standard of service.
3. Proven leadership and management skills including operational, budget, staff and resource management and capacity to manage human, financial and physical resources effectively and efficiently to ensure budget and performance targets are met.
4. Superior interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and interact professionally with a diverse range of people at all levels.
5. Demonstrated capability to manage and develop people, inspire direction and purpose and manage reform and change.
6. Ability to exercise sound judgment/initiative, manage issues, make complex decisions and operate independently within delegated responsibility.
7. Advanced skills in inspiring direction and purpose within disparate professional and facility based healthcare teams to communicate goals, priorities and vision and recognise achievements.
