- Tertiary qualifications in a health management-related discipline and/or extensive relevant work experience in a management role, working in either a clinical support or executive support setting.
- Demonstrated ability to perform a range of management and administration tasks, including experience in managing and monitoring human resources and financial resources.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement administration systems and processes to ensure the effective operation of the Cancer & Haematology Services.
- Proven team leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, motivate and coordinate staff.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high-level computer literacy and competence in PC-based applications (such as Microsoft Office) and electronic patient administration systems.
- Demonstrated ability to support and lead cultural and organisational change.
